What is Immersive Web? What is WebXR?

VR is the next computing platform, as leading companies from all sectors began active R&D on their own version of the technology, little doubt remains regarding the validity of this statement. As desktop/mobile applications start to transition to that platform, so do web-based applications. Imagine jumping into VR straight from an URL, zero download, zero install. That's the edge of Immersive Web experiences.

And WebXR is the bridge to that reality. Actively collaborated on by giants in the web business like Meta, Google, Microsoft and Mozilla, WebXR is an emerging and fast growing platform that have received support from major browsers like Chrome, Edge and VR-specialized browsers like Oculus Browser and Samsung Internet, with many more on the way.

Why VR Shopping? Why NFT?

We absolutely love the convenience of ordering goods on the internet and have it delivered to our doorstep, but we also enjoy the intimate feeling of traditional shopping, being able to walk into a store, feel or try on the product before you buy it. With the rapidly advancing AR/VR technology, we can accomplish just that.

But why NFT? We never intended this platform to only serve the NFT community. The main friction of transitioning more traditional product offerings to a VR platform is to create high-definition models for these products. However, for NFTs and other digital only goods, this is a non-issue, which is why we choose NFTs as our first step.
